Based on Norwalk Redevelopment's five-year Strategic Plan, the new website has many new features and fresh content, including current projects, Community Development Block Grant eligibility, applications, and timely project updates. Information and applications for small business and housing programs are also available to qualifying businesses and residents within the city’s urban core.
Redevelopment Agency Executive Director Brian Bidolli said the new website was created with the goal of presenting the Agency’s strategic plan in an easy-to-navigate, user-friendly, convenient way.
“The Agency has been busy working with relevant stakeholders to implement the strategic plan and redevelop and reinvest in areas of Norwalk in a thoughtful, deliberate way,” said Bidolli. “This new website puts all of the necessary information regarding housing, transportation, façade improvement and all the other various programs offered by the Agency to qualifying individuals and entities right at your fingertips. I encourage people to visit the site and to stay updated on the latest information.”
In addition to transportation and housing projects, information regarding support for small, minority, and women-owned businesses can be found on the site.
